Project Illusions workshops and keynote presentations cover many themes, however the universal philosophy which is embraced by all Howell’s work can broadly be defined by the following list:

We all live with illusions that keep us from seeing the truth.
- How we think can change our reality.
- Logic can be used to create "illogical" results.
- It serves us to welcome change, not resist it.
- Macro-scale change stems from the micro scale action of one single person.
- Every person is a magician… this magic lies hidden in each one of us.
These ideas provide the roots of the workshops and presentations, and out of them grow tangible and practical applications which can be taken away and used as valuable tools for working and living.
